Making sure that a photobook is ready for a deadline can be a challenging task, but one that I always end up enjoying. We have to produce a lot of photobooks as part of my business, which involves packaging together shots from club nights and then compiling them into books that can be sent out to hotels as part of a package deal promoting the resort we work on. It’s a time consuming job sometimes, particularly if I’m just given a memory stick full of photographs that haven’t been tagged or sorted. I’ve gotten pretty good at it though, and can usually organise everything I want to fairly quickly. All the clubgoers have to agree on the door to be used in the book, and we only do the photography nights once a month. The results can be mixed at times, but when you get a good shot, and present it well, it can really make a difference to how we market the club to clients.

I have been watching youtube videos for an entire day and I’m getting very bored with it. I hate watching videos because they are all so stupid and silly. Everything that happens in these videos is boring and it is never funny and it is never surprising. I think that people need to stop sharing silly videos on the Internet. I do not think people realize that they are embarrassing themselves right away. But probably in a few years they will all look back at their YouTube channels in shame at what they have done. The worst part is that people always feel offended if you say that you don’t like their video. They seem very devastated and very disappointed, even if you insist it is nothing personal.
